Dr. Temple Grandin, a true legend in the cattle industry, is coming to Clayton Corner Farm in Afton, OK on April 30! Her revolutionary work has transformed livestock practices worldwide, and her inspiring life story became an Emmy-winning HBO movie.

This event is tailored to engage and inspire 4-H and FFA students and their leaders with insights they’ll carry for a lifetime.

Student Fee: $20
We’re working to secure sponsorships to cover fees. Please include the number of students, chaperones, and teachers when registering. If full sponsorship isn’t obtained, we’ll contact your primary contact to discuss options ahead of the event.

9:30 am

Bus Arrival/Check-In

Upon arrival, please wait on the bus until someone greets you to get your checked in. We will confirm payment by either sponsorship set up prior or complete the transaction. Your students, teachers and chaperones will be provided wristbands.

10:00 am – 11:00 am

Get Settled In

Your students will have an opportunity to stretch their legs, use the restroom, check out vendor booths and purchase books by Dr. Grandin.

11:00 am

Dr. Temple Grandin Presentation

Please be seated by 10:55 am in preparation for Dr. Grandin’s presentation in the tent area. Grandin will have Q&A at closing, so please encourage your students to ask questions and learn firsthand from one of the greatest minds in agriculture and animal science.

12:00 pm

Sack Lunches Served

Sack lunches will be available. With advance notice, we will accommodate schools with further distances to travel by pushing to the head of the line.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Group Photos/Book Signings with Dr. Grandin

Your group will have an opportunity to take a photo with Dr. Grandin. We will notify you of your time slot during check-in. Books will also be available for purchase and Grandin will autograph copies upon request. Vendor booths and games will be available for your group to shop and enjoy.
