Cowgirl Confident Events

CCF will be holding our 4th hands-on Ladies’ Learning Event on Saturday, November 9th & Sunday, November 10th, titled Cowgirl’s Guide to Confidence: Empowering Women in Cattle Management. We have teamed up with an esteemed panel of instructors to bring you a fun, education-filled day of hands-on experience working cattle. Instructors include Dr. Blalock of Fairland Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Mindy Davis of Dr. Mindy’s Veterinary Service, OSU Extension, Flying Cow Genetics, Clayton Farm Cattle Company, Oklahoma Miniature Lovable Livestock, Cupcake Cattle Company, Manley Cattle Co., Circle AM Cattle Company, Lone Elm Cattle Co., 2/D Ranch, Ridge Ranch, Victoria: Farm Marketing Mentor and Knuckle Bump Farms!

Our goal is to empower women in cattle management, encouraging friendships with likeminded ladies, awe well as building confidence and skills along the way. This event is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience, ask questions, and learn from industry professionals. Our event offers a variety of demonstrations, including how to move cattle, back up a trailer, operate a chute, load cattle, and halter break. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to pull a calf with OSU Extension’s cow birthing simulator, AI best practices with Flying Cow Genetics, about basic vaccination, common illnesses, herd health, body conformation and more!
